The goal of this six week Hebrew course is for all participants to:
 
Learn to recognize and pronounce the letters of the Hebrew alphabet as well as the nikkudim (vowel markings).
Learn to put Hebrew letters and vowel markings together to form sounds and words.
Learn some Hebrew prefixes and suffixes.
Be able to read the first five verses of the book of Genesis in Hebrew.
Be familiar enough with the Hebrew alphabet to be able to use a Hebrew dictionary to translate the first five verses of Genesis
